Charlottetown rock band Gizmo released its debut full-length, All Your Worships, on Oct 2, 2026 through Victory Pool Records, moving into the record’s first week with an Atlantic Canadian tour beginning this week.
The 10-track album was recorded primarily at The Hall, a converted community hall in Great Village, Nova Scotia, in February 2025. Alex Edkins of METZ and Weird Nightmare and Loel Campbell of Wintersleep produced, engineered and mixed the record, while Greg Obis mastered it at Chicago Mastering Service. The closing track, “Pantone 312,” was recorded separately at Eureka! Audio in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, in April 2025.
Gizmo’s album credits list Julien Kitson on guitar and vocals, Daniel Hartinger on drums and vocals, Spencer Swaine on bass and vocals, and Patrick Stephen on guitar and vocals. The record also marks a change from the band’s 2023 EP, Buddy System, which Killbeat says was largely written by Kitson. All four members have songwriting credits on All Your Worships, with Swaine writing “Crystal Palace” and Stephen writing “Faulty Straight Edge Downfall,” two tracks on which they also take lead vocals.
“The songs on All Your Worships were brought to life between 2022 and 2025,” Kitson said in the band’s September release. Much of that material was worked out in the group’s basement rehearsal space before Gizmo moved the recording sessions to Great Village in February 2025. Kitson described the album as a collective project, with most of the songs fleshed out in the band’s basement rehearsal space. Killbeat’s release says the material continued to change as Gizmo played it live.
Gizmo formed in Charlottetown in 2021 and released the four-song Buddy System in August 2023. The EP won Rock Recording of the Year at the 2025 Music PEI Awards, where the band was also nominated for New Artist and Songwriter of the Year. Killbeat says Gizmo signed with Victory Pool Records and Noisemaker Management in 2025 following a Showcase PEI performance, after several years of touring and appearances at East Coast and Ontario festivals.
The band’s post-release run starts Oct 7, 2026 in Fredericton at The Cap with Fucked Up and Cootie Catcher. It continues through Moncton, Charlottetown and Halifax before three Newfoundland and Labrador dates in Corner Brook, St. John’s and Paradise. The run closes Oct 25, 2026 in Paradise.
