Your placement includes:

• a image or graphic representing your business, organization or event;

• your business or organization name;

• a short description;

• a direct link to your website or selected page; and

• three months of continuous placement on the SCENE 49 homepage.

The cost is $300 for three months, paid in advance.

Sponsored Feature — $250

Have a business, organization, event, production, publication, service or project you'd like SCENE 49 readers to know about?

SCENE 49 can produce an original Sponsored Feature based on information you provide and an interview conducted by email.

The $250 package includes:

• an original sponsored feature of approximately 500–800 words;

• an interview conducted by email;

• up to four supplied photographs;

• links to your website or other relevant pages;

• permanent publication on the SCENE 49 website;

• promotion through SCENE 49 social channels; and

• one round of factual corrections before publication.

You do not need to write the article yourself.

Sponsored Features are clearly labelled Sponsored Content so readers understand the commercial relationship.

The sponsoring organization may review the article for factual accuracy, but SCENE 49 retains control over wording, headlines, structure and final presentation.

A maximum of four Sponsored Features are available each month.

Homepage Advertising + Sponsored Feature — $500

Businesses and organizations that want both ongoing homepage visibility and a professionally written sponsored feature can combine the two options.

The package includes one three-month homepage advertising placement and one Sponsored Feature.

Purchased separately, the two options cost $550. The package price is $500.

No sales meeting required

Advertising and editorial coverage are separate

Businesses and organizations do not need to purchase advertising to be considered for editorial coverage.

News, announcements, events and other material may still be submitted to SCENE 49 for editorial consideration at no charge.

Editorial decisions are made independently. Purchasing advertising does not guarantee coverage, a review, an interview or favourable coverage, and choosing not to advertise does not affect editorial consideration.

Sponsored-content standards

Advertising and sponsored material are kept separate from SCENE 49's independent editorial work.

Sponsored content is clearly identified as paid material. Promotional claims must be accurate and supportable, and SCENE 49 may decline or revise material that is misleading, defamatory or inconsistent with our publishing standards.

Payment is required before sponsored content is published or a homepage advertising placement begins.
