Toronto-shot feature Her Last Supper will screen at the Forest City Film Festival in London, Ont., on Oct 21, 2026, giving Canadian filmmaker Becca-Willow Moss a confirmed fall festival date for her first feature as writer-director.
Telefilm Canada lists Her Last Supper among the projects funded through its Talent to Watch program, and Ontario Creates recorded the production under Femme Flannel Films Inc. The provincial agency’s production list shows filming in Toronto from May 21, 2024 to Jun 8, 2024, with Moss and Stephanie Chiasson listed as producers at that stage.
Moss contacted SCENE 49 through the publication’s submissions form this week to say the film is complete. She described it as a personal drama centred on grief, identity and a woman confronting an unraveling reality, with fiction and autobiography combined in a colourful, camp-inflected visual language. Moss said the film also addresses invisible illness.
FilmFreeway’s current listing describes Her Last Supper as an 80-minute Canadian drama and coming-of-age feature. It identifies Aaron Poole, Jonas Chernick, Julia Tomasone, Chantal Kreviazuk and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova among the key cast. Chernick’s official site also names Rosemary Dunsmore, Ron Lea and Spencer Barbosa in the ensemble and describes the film as Moss’s feature directorial debut.
Moss told SCENE 49 that several screenings are coming. The Forest City Film Festival date is the one currently available through a public listing that SCENE 49 could independently confirm. Tourism London lists the screening for 6 p.m. at Wolf Performance Hall in London. The public materials reviewed for this story do not yet provide wider release or distribution details.
