Crave’s YAGA premieres October 23, 2026, with Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, Clark Backo and Hudson Williams leading the cast. Based on Kat Sandler’s stage play, the eight-episode series follows a private investigator looking into the disappearance of a young heir in the fictional coastal town of Whittock.

Bell Media has identified the four principal characters and announced ten additional performers. Most supporting roles have not been identified in the network’s releases, so the guide includes selected earlier credits for those performers.

Who plays the main characters in YAGA?

Carrie-Anne Moss as Katherine

Moss plays Katherine, a university professor who comes into conflict with Rapp during his investigation. Bell Media describes Katherine as charismatic and interested in younger men, although it has released few details about her involvement in the missing-person case. The Canadian actor is best known for playing Trinity in The Matrix films and Jeri Hogarth in Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Moss also serves as an executive producer on YAGA.

Noah Reid as Rapp

Reid plays Rapp, the private investigator who arrives in Whittock to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park. His inquiries put him at odds with the town’s local detective and bring him into contact with Katherine. Bell Media has so far identified the character by the surname Rapp. Reid is familiar to Canadian television audiences as Patrick Brewer on Schitt’s Creek. He has also worked in music and theatre.

Clark Backo as Carson

Backo plays Carson, an apprehensive local detective who clashes with Rapp during his investigation of Henry’s disappearance. Bell Media has not supplied Carson’s first name or a detailed character history. Backo previously played Rosie on the Canadian comedy Letterkenny.

Hudson Williams as Henry Park and Logan

Williams plays Henry Park, the young heir to a powerful fishery whose disappearance brings Rapp to Whittock. Henry is central to the premise, although the promotional synopsis leaves the circumstances of his disappearance unresolved.

Williams also plays a second character named Logan. The dual casting became public in September, and Sandler discussed the decision at New York Comic Con on October 9. Official advance descriptions have not established the significance of the dual casting. Williams also stars as hockey player Shane Hollander in Crave’s Heated Rivalry.

Who else is in the YAGA cast?

Bell Media’s September casting announcement names ten additional actors without identifying their YAGA characters. Here are the announced performers and selected previous credits:

  • Sheila McCarthy — Starred in Patricia Rozema’s Canadian film I’ve Heard the Mermaids Singing.

  • Megan Follows — Played Anne Shirley in the 1985 Canadian television adaptation of Anne of Green Gables.

  • Ezra Franky — Appeared as Lucy in the Netflix series Untamed.

  • Patrick Gilmore — Appeared in the Canadian-made science-fiction series Travelers.

  • Katharine Isabelle — Played Ginger in the Canadian horror film Ginger Snaps.

  • Hiro Kanagawa — Actor and playwright with screen credits including Smallville and Caprica.

  • Emilija Baranac — Starred in the Canadian Netflix comedy series Fakes.

  • Georgia Acken — Played Clara in the horror film The Sacrifice Game.

  • Anisa Harris — Appeared in Yellowjackets and School Spirits.

  • Sam Krochmal — Originally from Edmonton, Krochmal has appeared in The Vince Staples Show. The Canadian Film Centre identifies his YAGA part as a recurring role.

AMC+, which will stream YAGA in the United States, also lists Eugenie Frances and Kristina Capati among the cast on its official series page. Their character names have not been specified there. Those names are part of AMC+’s published roster rather than Bell Media’s original supporting-cast announcement.

What character information is still missing?

The central investigation, the principal character names and Williams’ dual casting have been announced ahead of the premiere. The identities of most supporting characters, along with their connections to Whittock and the disappearance, remain unconfirmed in the network material reviewed as of October 10.

YAGA premieres on Crave in Canada on Friday, October 23, with its first two episodes. This cast guide will be updated when Bell Media, AMC+ or the episodes themselves provide reliable additional credits.
