Canadian comedian Russell Peters is heading back to the Middle East later this month, with performances scheduled in Amman, Jordan, on Oct. 23 and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Oct. 25. Peters’s official tour schedule lists an 8 p.m. show at Cultural Palace in Amman followed two nights later by an 8 p.m. performance at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, with the respective event listings also confirming the two appearances.

Both cities are return engagements for Peters. His 2022 Canadian tour announcement said the Act Your Age World Tour had already played sold-out shows in Amman and Abu Dhabi, along with Cairo and Dubai, while Etihad Arena describes the Oct. 25 appearance as Peters returning to Abu Dhabi.

Peters was already touring the region a decade ago. In a Jan. 16, 2016 interview with The National, published ahead of sold-out Dubai dates, Almost Famous was identified as his current world tour, with its Middle East leg including first visits to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait. Those first-visit references belong to his 2016 touring history; the current Amman and Abu Dhabi dates are in markets where Peters has performed before.

The same interview recorded how Peters described performing for audiences outside North America at the time. Asked whether he altered his material for more conservative markets, he said, “My show is basically the same as it is in North America.” Discussing the tour title, Peters said Almost Famous came from being “something of an outsider in the business.”

A decade later, Peters remains active across a broad live schedule. His official site currently lists U.S. dates through October before the Amman and Abu Dhabi appearances, followed by additional performances later in 2026 and into 2027.
