Banff Pride is already underway in Banff National Park, but most of the festival’s strongest public programming is still ahead, with drag and burlesque, film, live music, a queer market and several free or low-cost community events running through the week.
For anyone deciding whether to make the trip after opening weekend, the useful window now runs from Sunday night through early Oct 12, 2026. As of the evening of Oct 4, 2026, Banff Pride and the ticket pages checked by SCENE 49 still showed active ticket or registration links for the events that require them, with no sold-out notice posted. Availability can change quickly, particularly for limited-capacity events, so a same-day check remains worthwhile.
Sunday Funday closes out the opening weekend
Sunday Funday at the Rose & Crown is the main remaining event on Oct 4, 2026. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., with music scheduled from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event is 18+, and Showpass was still selling tickets when SCENE 49 checked Sunday evening. General admission was listed at $15 online, with $20 door admission before ticketing fees.
Rocky Horror and punk take over Monday and Tuesday
The Rocky Horror Picture Show moves the festival to Lux Cinema on Oct 5, 2026 at 8 p.m. The screening is ticketed and includes a participation kit, with ticket proceeds going to Banff Pride. Lux Cinema was still listing the screening for Monday at 8 p.m. when checked Sunday evening.
Banff Punk Night follows on Oct 6, 2026 at the Pump and Tap Tavern. Bands begin at 9 p.m., there is no cover, and the event is 18+. For visitors looking for an event without an advance ticket or registration step, it is one of the simplest options in the remaining schedule.
Pride Bingo and Night Bloom fill the middle of the week
Pride Bingo is set for High Rollers on Oct 7, 2026, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The 18+ event has limited seating and Banff Pride recommends booking ahead.
Night Bloom follows at Flow State Yoga Studio on Oct 8, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. Banff Pride describes it as an ecstatic-dance event incorporating meditation and breathwork. Registration is required; the organizer page does not currently list a price, so visitors should use the registration page for the latest access information.
Northern Spiritz leads into the final weekend
Northern Spiritz brings drag and burlesque to Mason Hall on Oct 9, 2026. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the detailed organizer information and Showpass listing put the show at 9 p.m. to midnight. It is 18+, with tickets listed at $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Saturday has both an all-ages market and late-night burlesque
The Pride Market gives the festival one of its broadest public-access events on Oct 10, 2026. It runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mason Hall, is free and all ages, and features 2SLGBTQ+ artists, makers and small businesses.
Mason Hall shifts to an 18+ program that night for Big Gay Burlesque. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.; ticket sales were still active through Showpass on Sunday evening. That combination makes Saturday the easiest day for mixed-age groups to take in a daytime Pride event before the adult evening programming begins.
Amateur Strip carries the festival into Monday morning
The final major event on the current public schedule is Amateur Strip at Mason Hall on Oct 11, 2026, running from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The 18+ event is hosted by Karla Marx and Bitch Sassidy, with tickets still available through Showpass when checked. Because it runs past midnight, the festival’s last listed programming reaches into early Oct 12, 2026; the current schedule does not show a separate daytime program for that Monday.
Banff Pride’s full schedule includes additional community and service-oriented programming, including the Gender Free Haircut Club for local 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. For visitors choosing from the remaining public festival events, the strongest stretch now runs from the Sunday-night party through the market, performances and closing-night program the following weekend.
